Delve into the incredible vaults lying under Southampton’s streets with former city stonemason Pete Shawyer. Since the 1960s Pete has explored, worked on and and come to know and love the fascinating vaults in Southampton, built by wealthy merchants during medieval times. In this walk Pete will unlock a selection of vaults and share his unparalleled knowledge of their history and how our forebears constructed them in the first place!

Please meet in St Michael’s Square a few minutes before the tour start time.
