Let’s Celebrate: Free Family Activity Day for the Gallery Reopening

We can’t wait to reopen! To celebrate, join us for a day of free family activities to enjoy while you explore the artwork and new displays.

You can have your face painted as an Impressionist painting, enjoy making cool things inspired by the artwork on display, visit our children’s Play Gallery and even enjoy some storytelling in The Perseus Series.

The Gallery is open 10am – 5pm and always free to visit, but the activities mentioned will be taking place between 11am and 4pm. There’s no need to pre-book, but if you would like to let us know you are coming please book a free ticket below!

For adults, there will also be mini talks about different artworks by members of the gallery team throughout the day, as well as a fantastic in-conversation event with Ceri Hand and artist Emma Richardson, discussing Richardson’s exhibition, Levitate Me: Desire, Ecstasy and The Sublime.
