Exhibition Inspired Art School Plus: Experiment with Sculpture (11-16 yrs)
Thursday 1 April 2027
10.30am - 3.30pm
Event Information
Explore Laura Ford’s imaginative sculptures through sketching and observation, then create your own wire and fabric animal sculptures, experimenting with shape, texture and movement. You’ll also use clay to make playful, characterful figures, exploring how simple forms and expressive details can bring a sculpture to life.
A fun opportunity to experiment with different materials, develop your own ideas and create sculptures full of personality.
Please bring a packed lunch and a drink. Please note you will be emailed a registration form which it would be brilliant if you could complete ahead of the session.
Cancellations
In the unlikely event that we cancel a session, we will offer a full refund. Unfortunately tickets are otherwise non-refundable. Please contact us if you wish to transfer your ticket to a friend if you cannot attend for any reason.
If you have any questions about the event please contact us at art.gallery@southampton.gov.uk or call us on 023 8083 4536 (emails and phones are staffed weekdays 9am-5pm).
