An Almost Private View of the Gallery

Event Information

The Main Hall and East Wing of the Art Gallery are now closed, while the final phase of the planned roof refurbishment project takes place. During this period we are pleased to be able to display a selection of sculptures from the city’s collection in the newly refurbished wing of the Gallery. This display will focus on representations of the human figure and artists’ responses to, and use of, the land. It features works by artists including Auguste Rodin, Edgar Degas, Barry Flanagan, Tony Cragg and Kate Robinson.

Once a month until October we are able to offer access to the west wing of the gallery for approximately a 45 minute visit per slot.
