Join us for an informal and illuminating art appreciation talk as we spotlight the Surrealist movement’s influential yet often overlooked female artists. Delve into the enigmatic worlds of Eileen Agar, Leonora Carrington, and Dorothea Tanning as we unveil their remarkable contributions to Surrealism. Prepare to be inspired by these extraordinary women’s resilience, imagination, and visionary artistry.
These talks will last approximately an hour with time for questions along the way.
Alastair Eales is a passionate art historian and PhD researcher. With his wealth of knowledge and infectious enthusiasm, Alastair will guide you through a delightful journey into the world of art at this series of art appreciation talks sharing insights and thought-provoking narratives along the way. The more you choose to pay, the more people will be able to come and enjoy the same excellent programme of informative and entertaining talks.
