Event Information

Calling all 11 – 16 year olds! Join us to discover and explore printmaking techniques at this two day course. Perfect for relaxation, creativity and developing your portfolio.

Book for each session individually or recieve a discount if booking both together.

 

Wed 10 April: Introduction to Linocut Printing
Get to grips with this satisfying and effective technique to create a series of prints around the theme of your choosing. We recommend you bring a simple A5 image to work from, although we will have plenty of images to use for inspiration available.
Please note: we will be working with easy cut lino and using sharp tools for this session. We will print using hand burnishing techniques on to a range of papers.

 

Thurs 11 April: Introduction to Gelliplate Monoprinting
Have fun exprimenting at this exploratory session, using a range of different materials, objects and mark making techniques to create a range of stunning and unique monotypes.
Warning: Gelliplate printing is highly addictive!
Please bring a packed lunch and dress for mess. All materials provided unless stated.

 

CANCELLATIONS In the unlikely event that we cancel a session, we will offer a full refund. Unfortunately tickets are otherwise non-refundable. Please contact us if you wish to transfer your ticket to a friend if you cannot attend for any reason.
