Guided Tour with Andy Skinner: The Bargate

Please note this tour will take place at the Bargate (the ‘Guided Tours Meeting Point’ sign at the south side of the Bargate).

Join historian Andy Skinner in discovering the secrets of Southampton’s most iconic and historic building: the Bargate. Taking you on a journey from medieval times, this special tour with limited numbers will uncover graffiti, offer tales of war and prisons and will also include access to the main chamber as well as the roof.

Regrettably this tour is not suitable for those with mobility issues and also includes navigating steep staircases.
