Collagraph Printmaking for Beginners: with Kate Watkins

Event Information

Join printmaker Kate Watkins to explore collagraph printmaking. Combining textured papers, tape and creative cutting and mark making techniques on collagraph card you will create simple collaged landscapes or animal themed designs. The finished collage plate is then inked and printed using a press to produce multiple copies experimenting with different ways to print and add colour. Collagraph can get messy so it’s advisable to wear old clothes.

All materials will be provided and all levels of experience welcome.

We will be using our printing press, so there will be a maximum of eight participants at this session.
