Beneath the Surface: Guided Gallery Tour with Dr Ali Eales

Event Information

Join artist and art historian Dr Ali Eales and this enjoyable and accessible tour looking at some of the highlights of the collection.  Ali will guide visitors through a fascinating selection of sculptural works, exploring how materials, from timeless bronze to throwaway plastics, shape not just what we see, but what we feel, remember, and value in art.

This informal tour will last around an hour including opportunities for questions and time to explore the artwork independently at the end of the tour.  Our usual stair access to the gallery is closed because of  the ongoing building works, so we will meet in the foyer at 2.15pm and make our way to the Gallery from there.  Lift access is available, if needed.  Please do let us know if you anticipate wanting this.

Cancellations

In the unlikely event that we cancel a session, we will offer a full refund. Unfortunately tickets are otherwise non-refundable. Please contact us if you wish to transfer your ticket to a friend if you cannot attend for any reason.
