Event Information
Join Wendy Stokes and Allyson Hayes to discover some of the artists’ associated with Bevois Mount at this fascinating talk. Frederick Lee Bridell, Frank McFadden, Albert Durer Lucas and Eric Meadus lived at different times, had very different life experiences and produced diverse art. Two of them had their lives cut tragically short and who knows how much more the world might have learned of them if they had been spared for longer? What does connect all of these artists is a 300-year-old estate named after the legendary Southampton hero, Sir Bevois of Hamsun.
Our prices are based on helping as many people to access our talks as possible. The more you choose to pay, the more people will be able to come and enjoy the same excellent programme of informative and entertaining talks. We thank you for any additional support you are able to offer us.
In the unlikely event of our having to cancel a session, we will offer a full refund. Unfortunately tickets are otherwise non-refundable. Please contact us if you wish to transfer your ticket to a friend if you cannot attend for any reason.
