A series of monthly online history talks hosted on Zoom and led by Andy Skinner (Learning & Engagement Officer at SeaCity Museum and Tudor House & Garden). All of the talks are designed to be fun, accessible and rooted in the history and archaeology of the city.
Anglo-Saxon Southampton was one of the most important towns of its day: an important trading town linked to the wealthy kingdom of Wessex. Everything then changed when the Vikings raided the town. This talk explores the stories of Saxon Southampton, from the 400s AD to 1066.
Our prices are based on helping as many people to access our talks as possible. The more you choose to pay, the more people will be able to come and enjoy the same excellent programme of informative and entertaining talks. We thank you for any additional support you are able to offer us.
In the unlikely event of our having to cancel a session, we will offer a full refund. Unfortunately tickets are otherwise non-refundable. Please contact us if you wish to transfer your ticket to a friend if you cannot attend for any reason.
