Tours For All are designed to be suitable for people of all ages – adults and children alike. Your guide will tailor the walk for those joining it. Wear good footwear, be prepared to be amazed and get ready to dive into history! Unfortunately most of our walks are not suitable for people with mobility concerns. Accompanying children under 16yrs old are FREE.
Join historian and guide Andy Skinner for a brand new guided walk unpicking the origins of the medieval town of Southampton, Hamtun. Charting the story of Southampton from Viking attacks in the 9th century through to the arrival of the Normans, this special tour will explore one of the most fascinating periods of Southampton’s rich history.
The tour will last approximately 90 minutes.
Please meet in St Michael’s Square (outside Tudor House) a few minutes before the tour is due to start. Regrettably this tour is unsuitable for people with mobility concerns.
