Special Gallery Access (5th April)

Event Information

The Main Hall and East Wing of the Art Gallery are now closed, while the final phase of the planned roof refurbishment project takes place. During this period we are pleased to be able to display a selection of sculptures from the city’s collection in the newly refurbished wing of the Gallery. This display will focus on representations of the human figure and artists’ responses to, and use of, the land. It will feature works by artists including Auguste Rodin, Edgar Degas, Barry Flanagan, Tony Cragg and Kate Robinson.

On Saturdays, between the 5 April and October 2025, we will be offering 5 prebooked sessions per day allowing access for a one-hour visit per slot.
