April 30 @ 19:30 - 20:30
A series of monthly online history talks hosted on Zoom and led by Andy Skinner (Learning & Engagement Officer at SeaCity Museum and Tudor House & Garden). All of the talks are designed to be fun, accessible and rooted in the history and archaeology of the city. Each talk will last approximately 1 hour.
The 17th century was a tumultuous time for Southampton – there were wars, plagues and economic downturns. This talk will explore this seismic century by examining the sailing of the Mayflower, the impact of the Civil War and the catastrophe of the Great Plague.
Our prices are based on helping as many people to access our talks as possible. The more you choose to pay, the more people will be able to come and enjoy the same excellent programme of informative and entertaining talks. We thank you for any additional support you are able to offer us.
