Traditional Flower Rag Rugs with Jacqueline Rolls

This lovely heritage activity has risen in popularity again recently and is great for reusing a variety of materials.

There are so many lovely flowers in our garden to inspire your rug or if you have a favourite flower that you would like to make please feel free to bring a photo for inspiration.

We will start by creating a small sample piece to practise the technique and then move on to creating your own design.

The workshop will run from 10:15am – 4:15pm and the session fee includes all materials, use of the equipment, a wooden peg prodder to use and take home, an information sheet, suggestions and examples for finishing your design as well as ideas of what you can turn your creation in to at home. We will also be using American hooks during the workshop, which you can purchase on the day from Jacquie at cost price (of approximately £12) if you want to.

Tickets are £50 per person.

You are welcome to bring your own lunch or purchase lunch from the café.

In the unlikely event of our having to cancel a session, we will offer a full refund. Unfortunately tickets are otherwise non-refundable. Please contact us if you wish to transfer your ticket to a friend if you cannot attend for any reason.
