Every location we sketch will have colour, light and shade. In this workshop we will use coloured pencils, markers and watercolour to explore contrasting ways of using colour when we are outside sketching the world around us. We’ll explore how we can use colour to give depth to our drawings, make contrasts or highlight certain element of the locations we have chosen to sketch on location.
All materials are provided but feel free to bring any media you enjoy working with and your sketchbook if you like. These sessions are suitable for beginners and designed for adults, but younger learners are welcome if accompanied by a paying adult.
