Urban sketching isn’t just about drawing streets and buildings. In this workshop we look at ways of animating our drawings by including people to show everyday life in the scenes we draw. In the first part of this workshop, we will look at ways of drawing people quickly and how to suggest their movements and activities. We will also see how figures in a drawing can convey scale and atmosphere. In the after we will experiment with these techniques in the garden or outside the Tudor House Museum.
