Weekday Wonderings is a weekday initiative from Southampton City Council Cultural Services, exploring the rich history and heritage of the town. Each session is different, but it could be a talk, tour or something entirely different! Look out for exciting activities on different weekdays!
Gain an in-depth perspective into Southampton’s rich history with Andy Skinner in this guided tour of SeaCity Museum’s history and archaeology exhibitions Gateway to the World and Southampton Stories. Charting thousands of years of history, we will be diving into some of the most central stories in the city’s history, including Romans emperors, Saxon warriors, medieval merchants and soldiers in the Second World War.
Admission is included to the museum on the day of this tour.

In the unlikely event of our having to cancel a session, we will offer a full refund. Unfortunately tickets are otherwise non-refundable. Please contact us if you wish to transfer your ticket to a friend if you cannot attend for any reason.
