Mixed Media Painting Workshop with Abi Kremer: Strata Strategies

Event Information
An enjoyable and creative day with artist Abi Kremer, inspired by the fascinating geological formations around us, and their relation to the sea. We will take as our starting point Strata, Jeremy Gardiner’s exhibition of 100 paintings of the Jurassic Coast , spending time sketching in the gallery then taking that insight to the studio, where we’ll develop our own compositions using graphite, inks, watercolours, acrylic and collage.
Bring your own experience of landscape and take it on an experimental journey, inspired by the unique layering process of Jeremy Gardiner’s work.
All materials are provided and all levels of experience welcome (although you may wish to bring a sketchbook).
There will be a short break for lunch. You are welcome to bring something with you or to go out.
Cancellations
In the unlikely event that we cancel a session, we will offer a full refund. Unfortunately tickets are otherwise non-refundable. Please contact us if you wish to transfer your ticket to a friend if you cannot attend for any reason.
